Theres a couple ways...
Theres a program out there called DOSbox that may help with older games. However, you have to get the game on your system first, since I'm betting you dont have a 5 1/4 drive anymore...check around and see if it's on a greatest hits compliation somewhere on CD, or even if it can be downloaded as freeware/abandonware

I can't help you with any suggestions but I have to write in with some amusement. Ancient computer game? The only ancient computer I know of is the Abacus and I don't think there were any games played on that. Everything else in computers these days is brand spanking new in comparison.

some game shops still stock second hand ps1 games. there were a couple of versions of hugo on the ps1
