For obscurity and a bit of fun - Prince Charles Cinema - off Leicester Square
For comfort and a bit of luxury - Apollo Cinema, Regent Street
For real big screen - upstairs (luxury) seating Odeon, Leicester Sq.

Vue Cinema, in Angel Islington. The cinema is in the N1 shopping centre. The centre also has nice restaurants and bars too, so you could go there after or before. The atmosphere in Angel is good, and you'll definately like it there.

I love the Prince Charles in Leicester Square. Its really cheap, shows cool films and is really grand inside. Much better than the chains. 2nd favourite would be Notting Hill Coronet for similar reasons.
