i am trying to organize the huge folder of photos into smaller ones
like i have one for my cats, family etc.. but im trying to figure out if there is a easier way to make the folders. Like possibly color folders
or something like that? anyone any suggestions? if its the easiest
to do the color folders, where can i find a program that will do that

Here are a few suggestions:
1) Definitely download Picasa from Google ... it's a great program, and free. You will love it!!
2) There are programs that colour folders, one used to be called colorfolder, lol .... go to http://www.nonags.com and see what they have, all programs there are free. Or check out the free programs on http://www.downloads.com .
OR:
3) Have your default viewing of picture folders to be thumbnails, that way you can quckly get an idea of what is inside the folder!
4) When you put your pics on your computer, put them in the appropriate folder as you do it.

Try to download PICASA from google.. it free software..
it will auto detect all picture in ur pc from all folder.. and place it nicely.. it also can edit or modify for your picture..

I'm not sure if there are any freeware programs available or not. Try doing a serach for free windows colored folder programs
