sorry, I was a bit unclear - what I meant was, some questions don't even make it to the list, so they don't get chance to be seen....

I've had my fair share of questions pulled too :(

It would appear that way to me.

Last week I was bored so tried to put up 'Would you shake a leper's hand?' and 'Who was the last person you accidentally headbutted?' to try and provide some amusement for me, with no avail.

I must have tried to put these questions up about at least 7 times before I gave up. But the second I enter something sensible like 'What did you have for breakfast this morning?' it will appear - along with a plethora of answers like 'ooh I had toast and jam - scrummy!'

Yahoo! Answers appears not to tolerate anything that isn't 100% sensible.

Do you think that they are actually censored by real live people? I don`t think that the question is censored as such. I think YA have a machine which is programed to watch out for certain words, and if the question contains them, they are blocked out; if there are so many of them blocked out that it renders the question unreadable, then they delete the whole question. I have noticed words used in other peoples questions that I have had deleted from mine.

Automatically by Yahoo. Odd how they allow all sorts of language and topics to get the all-clear; odd that some of us are shot down for innocent Qs or As. If I don't like a question, I just pass it by.
Probably done because of the age of the asker; time of day when kids can get into Y!.
I try to find ways of getting round it, by using symbols for letters.

I think it's the way questions are worded. When particular words are bunched together
