Is there ample free parking on the streets downtown SLC or do you have to put your car in a parking lot? If in a lot, do you have any idea of how they are priced? We will be in town mid-week.

Downtown Salt Lake City has parking metres, but as you can imagine very busy.
The major Hotels have their own parking of course.

Parking in a big city is a hot commodity year-round, and Salt Lake City is no exception. Only the lucky businesses have parking lots; everyone else has to let their customers fight it out on the street.
