Most definitely the valedictorian. I live right near Yale and I remember this happening. She HATED him.

Education isn't everything. Grades aren't an completely accurate reflection of intelligence anyway. There are some really smart people who didn't go to college, or who did and didn't fully exert themselves. And in addition, just because somebody came from a privileged background doesn't mean that they don't deserve great things. That would be giving unfair brownie points to people who started with nothing and stealing credibility from people who started well-off. It shouldn't matter. What should matter is the platform that person stands on. Finally, the president need not be a genius, just educated, knowledgable about what the country needs and wants, and a plethora of political matters. I say let the best candidate win, regardless of their GPA and their parents' socioeconomic status.

First of all, I wouldn't want either elitist snob from Yale as president.

Second, any decent Yale grad would go into business, not politics or government, because they would want to be productive with their life.

More seriously, if the Yale valedictorian believed in abortion "rights", socialized health care, expanding the role of government at the expense of individuals and private enterprise, and believed a village instead of the parents are responsible for raising the child...I wouldn't want that Yale grad to be my dogcatcher.

Who gives a rat's rear end which rich, spoiled, white kid ends up as President? None of them,
repugnocrat or dumbpublican, will make any difference to anyone except other spoiled rich kids.
