'The Wind Up Bird Chronicle' by Haruki Murakami. I am a writer and it's the most amazing book that I've ever read. And I have read a lot. It's the type of amazing, beautiful, poetic writing that all writers hope to achieve. And it has an unusual, addictive storyline with a lot of deeper meaning.
