Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del -->Task Manager-->Performance. Available Physical Memory is what you are looking for.

go to my computer open up right clik on the drive C and ask for properites it will show with a display in round how much used and how much free
more than that you can clean up the disc by that method

Simply go to Start>My Computer>Local Disc and it will tell you how much free space you have.

MEM /C
