For my upcoming trip to Norway I am lucky enough to have a choice of two bikes!
My Cagiva River 500 which I am most comfortable on and have done over 25000 miles on.
My dad's Yamaha XJ900F which is bigger and supposedly better for touring.
I really love my Cagiva and I have two months experience on the XJ in all kinds of weather condidtions which makes me confident riding it!
A REAL DILEMA. Any inspiring words welcome>

If you can travel light take the Cagiva (and Pile cream), if you need to carry loads of **** then take the XJ.

Whichever bike is gonna get you out of bed to do the next day is the best one.

XJ, the Caigva 500 would be struggling. Plus, you'd appreciate the XJ's saddle after 1000km or so
