You do not have to have a plasma TV. You do need a HDTV ready TV because the games are in HD. I think the games are $69.99.........

The price of games will probably depend on their media more than anything else. The PS3 is the only console which takes an HD media (blu-ray), they can carry alot of data. 25 GB for a single layer disc, 50 GB for a double layer disc. Compared to PC games which take up at least 5 GB on the hardrive, you can see just how large a world you can have, or how much detail you could have in the graphics.
But these should be rare at first, most blu-ray players cost about $1000 at the moment any way. I think the PS3 will probably cater for everybody

I'd say, get HDTV, most of the games, as stated before are in HD, and also Plasma in my opinion burns out too easy. In the long run, plasma t.v truly isn't worth it, go HDTV and your life will be alot easier. The games usually cost around $55-70.

hey,
with the hd screen, you will have the best graphics, with a simple tv non hd you will not have bad graphics but you will not have most of the benefits of a the hd screen.
however, reading a hd game on a non hd tv improve the quality a bit (if we compare with a non hd game readed on a non hd tv)
the worst thing is to read a non hd game on a hd tv, it's UGLY.
The games are currently expensive yes, the price should calm down with time
