Because religion is a system developed by humans to answer the questions they don't have answers for. It requires a leap of faith to believe in something other than the human experience. Not everyone needs religion, nor is capable of the leap of faith.

Remember, everyone was an atheist until the first lightning strike. Then fear took over, and religion began.

Religions and beliefs were created in many ways and at different times with many names for their god(s) head. If a person feels they do not wish to be part of a religion that is totally up to them and they should be respected for their belief or non-belief in this case.
I personality am part Christian and Buddist is that wrong? I don't think so. It's what works for me.

Because I can't trust an archaic book to tell me what to do. Gotta keep up with the modern day moral standards man.

I am. is that such a bad thing? it is simply a matter of opinion.

I cant belive in something a book told me to belive in. how can "miraculous" things happen and yet there is no proof? religion is all a legend. stories in the bible are legends.

Because not everyone has to believe in (a) Supreme Being(s). If you do believe in God then remember he gave us Free Will!

it happens to the best of us, the ability to reason is to blame for all that atheism. atheists should have their heads banged hard, so once they'll become stupid, they'll start believing
