Hope you are a patient person. It may take a while. I'm not real sure on an average yield per tree. I have only one pecan tree in my yard. It depends on weather conditions as well. I live in SC. The crops this past year were awful. The worst in 40 years.

The average rate I paid for Pecans was anywhere from $5 -$6 a lb. shelled. I wouldn't look to retire on this investment if that's what you're asking. A good side business maybe.

Had 4 trees that produced 210# of nuts I collected and had cracked. I did not collect all of the nuts so the total yield for that year was beyond 210#. Pecans bear heavily every other year. good luck. Oh, the 4 trees were in an area roughly 50' x 100' if this helps you calculate your yeild. (Usually native stock is grafted with paper shell scions.)
