It seems to me that there are crimes against humanity in more countries that I can think of. The few people I have spoken to who have actually travelled to Palestine have said what nice people they are and that they feel sorry for them with regard to the Israeli aggression. Personally I give up trying to understand the conflict and just wish it would end as I deplore killing for any reason. Although if I saw someone raping or killing somebody first hand I would defend them (or stand stock still in terror - don't know). The moral argument is not clear as if you put yourself in the position of seeing your own family murdered - how would you feel and what would you do. Would pacifism turn to a desire to destroy the perpetrators? Would idealism fly out the window? I sometimes wonder if I am a naive idealist or if peace and harmony is possible. The cycle of hate. How do you break that?

That "Palestine" even exists is testament that Israel is not motivated to eliminate the"Palestinians". The territory referred to as Palestine was captured when three nations attacked Israel.
Israel should have settled all of it but did not because they wanted to use it as a buffer zone between them and proven aggressors. The land has summarily been occupied by militants intent on the destruction of Israel.Their hatred and tactics have spawned the terrorist movements that now threaten the world and hold places in government in many Mid-East countries.

depends on who's humanitarian meter your reading according to the, Israeli's it is them who are the victims and to the Palestine's it is them who are the victims ,if you ask the U.S. it is also Israel who is def fending their land. and if you ask the neighbors of Israel (the people who live in the region it is the Palestinians who are the defending their land so it is quagmire of instability.
me personally I don't see the humanitarian works from either side, by that I mean in the late 40's -early 50's Israel was granted sovereignty and land rights as a nation for this they were to Aline themselves with the western world (against all the countries in the region)because the western world would provide security to the nation of Israel.
yes Israel has commit ed crimes against humanity ,and it is reflected in the quited resignation of it military leaders and heads of state, thee reason it is done quietly is so that there will be no investigation that will produce any evidence because all involved will no longer be serving the governing body and there for the only documentation that can be used as evidence against them will be classed top secret and vital to the security of the government and can not be made public.
these men will sit quietly by on the side lines advising and consuling insted of being put in jail or brought to trial.

First off there is no longer a Palistine. I will say this though, It is a sad state of affairs at best. The Government of Palistine supported Hitler in WW2. After that all the AXIS Countries were Occupied. Italy changed sides and so was spared from this. Germany was divided up Japan was occupied under US Forces and Palistine was divided as Punishment. In a way Palistine was such a small player, the punishment seemd quite harsh, especially since Germany eventually regained Sovierenty as did Japan. Israel seems very reactive to any attacks so if you do not attack they will not attack. I do not think the Palistinians got a fair shake but it is what it is and there is no going back only working it out........

no, israelis are the ones who throw stones at palestinian tanks, and are shot with bullets in the chest... they are the victims and the palestinians are the terrorists!
and to answer Mr. Bert know-it-all
"Wasn't that ALL Israeli land before it got whacked up by Britian?"
No sir, it was arab palestinian land.. and among the ORIGINAL palestianians were some 40,000 jews... then hundreds of thousands of jews immigrated, coming from all over europe... israelis are mostly from polish, german, russian origins... some are african as well...
"And do they not SPECIFICALLY target civillians when they use their rockets to attack?"
doesnt the great army of israel do the same as well?? attacking civil palestinian areas pretending there are terrorists hiding inside?? well, ben laden said there were US soldiers hiden in the twin towers, how about that??
"And did they NOT vote in a terrorist regime (Hamas) to run things, despite international threats of cutting off all international aid and support?"
Hamas is short for "Islamic Resistance Movement" in arabic. As the name shows, this is a resistance... and palestinians voting for Hamas exactly shows that the palestinians consider Hamas to be a legal resitance group that is practicing its duty of resisting Israeli occupation. So why does the international community want to influence real democractic elections in palestine in favour of one specific group (Fatah) which has tried every other peaceful way of bringing a solution to the conflict, and has failed time and time again because of the haughty attitude of israelis?? and isnt such an intervention un-democratic??

I think it is highly possible that the report is true but when the group doing the investigation (the UN) has been guilty of embezzling money from programs such as the OIL for Food program I tend to believe their findings may be agenda driven.

Crimes against humanity. Let's see, didn't the British slaughter tens of thousands of East Indians during the invasion of India?
Didn't the European conquerers slay God knows how many native Americans in America?
Didn't the British slaughter God knows how many Aborginies in Australia?
Didn't pro Israeli militias in Lebanon slaughter tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees? And no one says a word to Israel.
Didn't Israel ignore 160 UN resolutions against it throughout its history?
And yes, Israel still treats the Palestinians like some sort of Aparthied as was in South Africa. They live like in a huge prison!
There were many crimes against humanity where there never were any justice. The list just goes on.
As what is being seen in the Middle East, as long as there is no Justice, there would never be peace.
The past crimes of the current Western powers still haunt them, and will haunt them.
The Holocaust is something that they use to futher support for thier causes.
The Palestinians unfairly paid the price for what the Jews of Europe went through. They are still unfairly paying it.

Check me if I'm wrong, but is there even a legitmate country known as Palestine? Wasn't that ALL Israeli land before it got whacked up by Britian?
And have the Palestinians NOT sworn to completely exterminate the Jews? And do they not utilize suicide bombers to kill Jewish women and children? And do they not SPECIFICALLY target civillians when they use their rockets to attack? And did they NOT vote in a terrorist regime (Hamas) to run things, despite international threats of cutting off all international aid and support?
It isnt the Jews you have to worry about, it's the psychotics you elected you better watch out for. They've taken your hatred of the Jew and turned it into starvation for your families. Always remember, your choices always come back to haunt you, one wya or another.
