Dirty Dancing is my all time favorite movie, I was about 20 when it came out. I think life was simple and sweet once upon a time (before all of the modernizations), but it is not anymore. I think young people today don't know what love is, they have it confused with sex.

PS: "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" :-)

I first watched it as an adult and wished that love was like that. I am certain teenagers at the time expected love to be as it was portrayed on the screen. However, experience showed me that this movie, as wonderful as it was, was just a fantasy. Since then, just about every time I see it on TV, I stop and watch at least a few minutes of it once again--and I think it airs 24/7! (And I also think Jennifer Grey was much more attractive with her old face! Just MHO.)

I love that movie, it's always been one of my FAVORITES!!! Nope, I was very little when it came out. I think that teenagers do wish life and love was like that. I know when I watched it, how that's exactly what I wanted love to be like!!! It's just so sweet, romantic, and special. I used to wish that there was some place like that around here where we could just get away for awhile!! I'm gonna have to go home and watch that tonight now!!!! :)

I think that many people let the movie influence them, and yes I do think that back in those days that is how things were. Life was like that, at one time or anohter. Love can be like that now, not often but every so often a man like that does come along.

About a hundred times, it's a classic and well worth watching, I love it! It's a bit sad to watch now though because Patrick Swayze is no longer alive :(

I loved that movie and I thought that is what love was all about. I believe now that there is no love like that. That is to bad cause I would like love to be that way.
