Cut in first - paint all the corners and around trim. Then use a paint roller to finish the job. This is the easiest and fastest method for painting any room.

All the aforementioned tips will work well for you but also consider the following when trying to paint a bathroom quickly...

1) Avoid smoke breaks
2) Easy on the beer breaks until the job is done (this creates the need for potty breaks too... in time... see #3 for privacy issues with potty breaks)
3) Take the door off before you paint, it always gets in the way and you will need to paint it too for sure if you hit it with the roller enough times.
4) Start painting the bathroom AFTER everyone has showered for the day.
5) Put the dog (or cat) outside OR put the paint tray up high... they are curious and footprints are tough to remove from many floor coverings...

Good Luck!

I have used the paint sticks available at any home center. They work well as you don't have to keep dipping the roller in pain which makes it go much faster. Also special pads that are available for trim or cutting in work much faster than a regular brush.

any good paint job is 90% prep work, start by cleaning the walls and trim, patch any damage, sand any defects, dust, prime, tape, cut in, paint, second coat, clean up. where would you like to cheat on a good job? the best way to get your paint job done quickly would be to hire a professional. good luck.
