Yet, Libs in the U.S. do all they can to stop nuclear power.

The topic of nuclear power in France is not agreed by everyone.
If it helps to be independent with power, the weak points are that :
- a secret document has been made public that is a study about the danger of nuclear plant. The final words were something like "if someone with a big plane is able to crash on the french nuclear plant, there is nothing to do to protect people from radioactivity : a plane is too big and heavy"
- it takes 20 years to build a nuclear plant
- there is not enough uranium in the world to build nuclear plants for everyone.
-we don't know how to recycle radioactive things and some have a lifespan of several milion of years.

By the way, I'm not sure to know all the sources of us electricity so I cannot give you my opinion.

Where were all the proposals to build nuke plants while Bush is giving Big Oil millions in taxpayer-funded subsidies they dont need? How many billions of dollars per quarter does Big Oil need to steal from the US customer, before you stop playing the blame game and start working for the US VOTER??

And how do nuclear power plants power the millions of cars, trucks and motorcycles ont he roads right now? Convert them ALL to nuclear? So we can all have a "Back to the Future" flying car?
