Go get yourself some sage at your local Healthfood store. Burn it all over your home. Also, burn lots of white candles. Another way is to cut lemons in half and put a half in each corner of your entire home. This maybe alot of lemons but ghosts can't stand the things. If your lemons turn completely black after the first day, then you have eliminated at least one of them.

I can remember watching a tv programme about house cleansing and there was a witch who suggested placing stones with holes in them on windowsills to keep ghosts out. Also I have heard of a chinese charm designed to stop ghosts from entering over the threshold of your home. I don't know what the charm is exactly but you could try searching for it on the internet.

Not that this will help you get rid of them...Ghost are demons, demons can take any form, I do not think a God, being almighty would, let the dead hang around, even if they had unfinished business to attend to. Demons are fallen angels and have the same power as Angels do. They like to inhabit places were a traumatic event took place. This is called a territorial stronghold. Usually called hauntings. "Stronghold" Greek strong's fortress, or prison-fortified place. 2 Cor 10:3-5. Remember the story of the Gergesene Demoniacs in Matt 8:28-34. (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39) If you’re not religious, you may want to read it. This territory had a stronghold of demons over it, not to mention one man (Personal stronghold-possession) who had a legion of demons in him. Mark 5:9. Jesus freed the man, and in so doing freed the territory of its stronghold/haunting. When the demons went into the swine, the demons did not like the swine, so they drown the swine, this also killed the pigs that the Pagan worshippers used to sacrifice to their God's and killed that business off as well. Jesus healed the land and killed the Pagan worshipping (they used the pigs to sacrifice for food for their god’s) business for a time. My point is, demons are Ghosts and dead people are not.

I don't know if you are able to watch Sylvia Browne when she's on Montel. Either way, she says to tell them that they are dead and that they should go to the Holy Ghost. If that doesn't work, she says to take a cross into each room and bless it. I don't know if it works, but let me know. I've never lived in a house with ghosts. I didn't see your earlier question. Are they actually bothering you? Or does it just freak you out to know they are there?

Try cleansing house with sea salt open windows & doors Then walk thru house and throw sea salt in all 4 corners of all rooms after this is done breath deep and say goodbye and mean it !!! This may work for you some ghosts are good!!

you can always call in an exorcist. If those ghosts are nice then tell them you want to help them move on to another place. I know it might sound freaky, but tell them you want to help them. Ask them things like what happened. Go all ghost hunterish. Ask them to look for a white light. They're loved one's are waiting for them in a better place. You have to help them move on. If the spirits are bad and hostile, call an exorcist...or if that fails, then just get out!!

Demon has the right idea ghosts a like lost children, they know they're supposed to be somewhere but don't always know the way. Get in touch with someone who can conduct a seance. Any one who won't charge you for their services is probably the best bet as ones who are asking for money will be likely to con you.

there souls are stuck in summerland they cant cross over yet!! sorry old saying that came to mind.Maybe there is something binding them to this world like they died a horrible death and cant cross over until the truth is known or they died to young or something try talking to them and figuring it out if they are bitter dont be suprised though how would you feel being told to leave especially cause the house your in might have been thiers or thier friends or fiances or someones they knew

If you tell them to leave they must listen to you, else they would be breaking the rules. Ask your higher powers for help if the problem persist. You have to instruct them to leave your house/you/car/everything specifically if that is what you want.....you can't just say leave and not be specific

And FYI...ghosts are NOT demons, they are lost spirits, or spirits who, for whatever reason, have not "moved on."
Use the sea salt as advised, and be firm but not rude when you tell them to go...
