While playing a movie in my Windows Media Player, if I try to jump to somewhere in the timeline the movie restarts. I mean when I click the seek bar, the progress indicator goes back to the beginning point and movie starts to play again. It was not always like this. Somehow my Media Player is distorted but I don't know how?
Please help!

Uninstall the wmp and then re install

Check your media player by playing another movie. If another movie runs normal, it means the movie giving you trouble is corrupt. no problem with media player. If the other movie also giving same problem then reload media player. that's all.
