Unsure about our protection and the life of the item, we sometimes admit the need for an extended warranty. We tell ourselves, “if something goes wrong, at least we are covered”…but are we?

I bought best buy's extended warranty on both my digital camera & dvd player, and both of them needed repair/replacement right after the manufacturer warranty had expired. So yeah sometimes it is worth it, mostly it depends if you have the extra money at the time of purchase and if you could afford to replace it if it broke/malfunctioned.

prolonged warranties in user-friendly words get used about 3% if the time they are offered for any electronics. maximum any merchandise you purchase, except a motorcar, will not in any respect want to apply the prolonged warrenty and could honestly want to get replaced earlier some thing lined might want to happen. i purchased an truly good Dyson Animal vacumn over 4 years in the past for roughly $500.00, the broking tried to promote me an prolonged warrenty for one extra 3 years, after the only 3 hundred and sixty 5 days known coverage which become protected; it would want to have run out about 6 months in the past, and that i have not had to have any service demands this vacumn, so i might want to have thrown away one extra $230. customer comments and the added effective agency Bureau do no longer recommend prolonged warrenties, both. Have a strong day!

it's just another form of insurance. You probably don't need it, but if something goes wrong, you'll sure be glad you did have it.

No, actually, most of them are not worth the cost.

If it's not for a new car, or an LCD bigscreen, then don't waste your money.
