I badly require a gmail account

All you have to do is go to http://www.google.com/... click on More... click on Even More... then click on Gmail under : Communicate, show & share. And then set up an account. Once you do that you can download Google Talk, it's great and free to talk to people! I use it all the time.

You do not need an invitation. Anyone can get a Google mail account. Just go to mail.google.com.
