You will have to go through the steering wheel to get to it. First go to autozone or some place like that where they do a loan a tool. You will need a steering wheel remover and a steering column tool. Take off the air bag and then the steering wheel. Use the steering column tool to press in the spring assembly and take out the key ring that holds all of that down to release it. I always use 2 screwdrivers for that part, but I am sure the right tool would make it easier. Then take out the phillips screw on the outside of the hazard switch. This will release the entire assembly. GOOD LUCK!

If you just want to replace the hazard button/switch, just give it a good yank straight up and push the other one straight down into it. To replace the complete multi-function switch, you have to disassemble the whole top of the column and lower part of the dash. These switches come with an internal column wiring harness that runs up to a bulk head connector under the dash. This is not a good job to do if you don't know what you are doing. Good luck.

The hazard switch is part of the turn signal switch. Take the steering wheel off. Take out the two screws under the column and separate covers. Two screws hold the switch, one on top and one in front. Disconnect wiring connectors @ base of column.
