No, I'm just looking for a package that is supposed to be coming to me from the US, it hasn't arrived yet and it's been a long time...

I think it was going the other way. Someone was on the radio today talking about her possessions which where on there to go elsewhere as she was emigrating.

ADD Further to that, just heard the lady say her belongings were going from UK to Capetown, so it was going t'other way.

Contact the shipping company, most mail goes by air, I think that it's terrible that people are going down to the beach NOT to help but, to loot goods from a maritime disaster. It makes me embarrassed as a "Human Being" ! I'm a sailor, and the saddest thing in the world, is to watch a ship go down, all I've heard was people saying "Whats on the beach" ? NOT was anyone hurt, or killed, or can I help in anyway, I know that I'd be out in my boat to help the ship in distress, much more important than cargo, and this is coming from a country that did one of the GREATEST Civilian Maritime rescues ever, the evacuation of "Dunkirk", Boggles the mind it does !

you could hire a fishing boat for a day and go have a look at the cargo still on the ship. have a look in some of the containers on the beach. they're full of gold. if only i lived nearer i would take them all.call the shipping company they could tell you.
good luck

I heard on the news that the ship was bound for Portugal so you should be alright. You might get lucky if you go to the beach and sift through the containers there, you may be able to claim salvage on something.
