I didn't know horizontal was an option, who wipes from side to side? Vertical obviously, front to back to avoid infection...you know the rest.

You should wipe from front to back, vertically. This keeps you from bringing infection causing bacteria into your vagina from "back there". You shouldn't wipe from back to front - its not good for you.
