Can anyone tell me what the bleeding is like when you have a miscarriage and what it feels like too?
Im sorry if this subject upsets anyone its just that I think I had one yesterday, I went to the hospital and the pregnancy test they did was negative but my period isnt due until next week so a test would be negative at this stage anyway wouldnt it?
My fiance and I have been trying for a baby and the reason i thought I was pregnant is because I got the implantation bleeding and the cramps and sore boobs earlier on this month.

I have really bad stomach ache and I keep 'flooding' everything; I have to change the most absorbant sanitary towel AND tampon (both used at the same time) in less than 1hour after use. There are loads of clots wich are massive and are almost black in colour while the blood is bright red.
sorry if this is tmi.

When I got pregnant due to rape I thought that I was having a normal period after the first couple days. It ended up the doctors believe I miscarried a week after conception. I had very heavy bleeding and clots like you are describing. The bleeding lasted a month. It's possible that you are experiencing a miscarriage. Sorry.

Hi, until you had actually missed a period, or had a positive result, it would be very had to say wether the bleeding has been a miscarriage or not..
My friend had a miscarriage a few years back but this was like a week or so after her missed period, she experienced, heavy bleeding and cramps...she went to the hospital and they did a scan there where it was confirmed she had lost the baby, even tho she had lost the baby, she still had a positive result because of the level of hormones still in her blood stream...
In your case, I would agree that the test would have been negative at such an early stage...It could have been confirmed tho by a blood test...did they do that at the hospital ?...
Hopefully, it has been an early period....good luck for the future..

i honestly dont think that you were pregnant as if you thought you were miscarrying and had a test done as quick as you could, it may have shown up that you were positive.
having a miscarriage is very painfull and you bleed massively. if you were only a few weeks gone than the colour would have been light pink with blood clots in it.
if you were after 4months gone then it wouls be slightly darker with a possible of blackish blood clots.
you would have know you were pregnant as if you were trying for a baby, all women are constantly taking tests and it would have shown up.
i honestly dont think you were and there is no way of knowing now so i wouldnt thinkyou have misscarried, just keep trying. it was prob a bad period

Hi there
Firstly if you think you are pregnant and there is bleeding occuring go to the Dr immediately whether it is in the first week or the 16th week either way bleeding in pregnancy is never a good sign. Sometimes "spotting" can occur and most of the time if it is light or dark brown you needn't worry as this is old blood excreting itself. If the blood is bright red however please seek medical advice immediately. I know from past experiences that a miscarriage is very painfull and if you had one you would know about it. I however wish you the best of luck and keep us updated.

I had one once you feel a lot of cramping ( I was only 1 month along) and I stared to bleed like my period. The actual miscarriage happened the next day I could feel and see a large blood clot of tissue come out of me when I used the bathroom.

hi hun, i often get sore boobs and cramps before my period, if the test was negative then its negative, you have chromosones in the blood stream immediatly upon conception, those chromosones would still be present even if a miscarriage takes place, i miscarried at 13 weeks and it was incredibly painfull and had to have an operation afterwards to take away what was left, i personaly dont think you have miscarried but if your worried you should consult the doc again, so sorry hun, hope this helps, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

When I had my miscarriage I was 12 weeks along and had bleeding like a period, but I also had contractions. I think it is different for all women. Good luck and don't give up.

Firstly Sorry to hear if you have, miscarriage is something no woman should have to experience but unfortunately do.I think every woman has different signs but the main ones are cramps, bleeding which with any pregnancy should be checked out.Don't give up and gooodluck.
