No, the whole point of the internet is freedom of information. You just have to manage the data available to you or your family by using the filters and parental controls that are already in place. You must be looking at this material yourself otherwise you would not know it was there - so filter it out.

there are settings and programs you can get to block those types of sites from being viewed. That being said, removing that sort of thing from the web is impossible as its more than a 5 billion dollar industry, thats per year....meaning the only way to remove it is to find the same revenue in a different area, and convince not only the companies, but there customers to stop.

I think you are confusing "sexy" and "pornographic". Even then, who are you to decide what everyone else is allowed to see?
Oh, and about 70% of the internet is porn - take the porn away and there wouldn't be much of an internet left...

As the irreverent Dr. Cox puts it:
"They should never take porn off the internet, and if they did, there would be only one site left and it would be called "bring back the porn".

No, freedom of speech must be adhered to - you are not required to go to xxx sites, just like you are not required to go to a porn store. Parents are responsible for ensuring their kids do not go to incorrect sites too.
