I am now a British citizen and was a Malaysian and my husband, a British. We have separated for more than 5 years. The last I heard, he is no longer in this country and cannot be found. We both married in Malaysia. Am I still considered married ? I need advise.

I believe so, to be legally unmarried to him you would need to apply for a divorce and I'm sure you will be granted this if you have enough documentation that he cannot be found.

If you are married in a church you can get a divorce, but if you had a child or children with him you cannot get an annulment.

You are considered married. File for divorse, after 5 years of separation it will fly through

yes, unless you've been divorced. You need to start divorce proceedings.
