It has been 24 years since Tony Dorsett played in a Super Bowl, but for the fourth time in five years the Hall of Fame running back has had a deep personal stake in the big game. Dorsett and New England Patriots cornerback Ty Law are cousins. His son, Anthony, an Oakland Raiders safety, played in last year's Super Bowl and in Super Bowl XXXIV with the Tennessee Titans. "I'm so proud of those guys," Dorsett says. "I've seen them grow up from little boys to become well-rounded men and great athletes. As we know, it doesn't always work out like that. "You can get sidetracked. But they stayed focused . . . and they keep me going back and forth to these Super Bowl." Law credits his famous cousin, who spent the bulk of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, for helping him develop the discipline needed to excel as an athlete and exposing him to the NFL lifestyle at an early age.
