That's a very good question because the black dress came from the most unusual of places, a backyard sale which Jade stumbled into by accident while driving through the neighborhood on her way to a friend's house. Jade gets quite a kick out of telling the story how she noticed the dress just hanging there and fluttering in the wind as if it was just calling out to her. In fact, the homeowner allowed her inside to try on the dress and she liked it so much she wore it to her friend's house. She likes to describe it as her favorite dress and loves to wear it everywhere . It's just amazing the circumstances under which Jade discovered the dress and how she has just fallen in love with it. It's such a heart-wrenching story which gets me all choked up whenever I think about it. BB really gets a big kick out of the story and the two of us get together with Jade and just laugh and cry together while remincising.
