I'm thinking of joining VIT,Vellore for B.tech biotech or bioinfo. Can someone give me details?

I'm a non-maths student with phy., chem , bot., and zoo. as main subjects in state board syllabus . So am I eligible and do I have any chance of being selected in the entrance exam ?
