So I bought Valerian clear capsules, 450 mg each for my Anxiety. I took 3 then 4 hours later, near bed time, 3 more. Nothing. I did not sleep either. Help? I need something natural for Anxiety.

Try taking it for a few days or a week. The dosage is usually one capsule with meals twice daily, and 1-2 capsules approximately one hour before bed.
You can also try kava-kava, chamomile tea, passion flower, yoga, self-hypnosis, cutting out all sugars, and possibly checking with a specialist about an endocrine imbalance.

I would try to get to the root of the Anxiety, try something like Health Kinesioloy ive had great results with that. In the interim, you could try a low dose over the counter homeopathic rememdy like Agent Nit x6, which is good for nerves, anxiety or the Dr Bach flower rememdies such as the rescue remedy, they work well too. Overall getting to the root cause is the best way foward and there are a host of causes so try to get some help along the way.All the best. Marco

As alternatives for some natural anti-anxiety, you might want to try some B vitamins, especially a megadose of non-flush niacin, 500 mg., and up to 50 mg. of B6. This helps with your levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter.

You could also benefit from about one gram of magnesium, (on an empty stomach, since it interferes with digestion). This is also a natural laxative, so be prepared to poop. But it won't usually cause diarrhea.

Near bedtime, heat a glass of milk to the warm level, and drink it.
This allows natural L-tryptophane to relax you.

Valerian capsules are not as effective as a Valerian tea or syrup. Anyways natural remedies are not nearly as strong as non-organic ones. By the way, valerian given to cats makes them extremely hyper and they behave really bizzare :)

They work very accurately, may be next time it will help you.
When I want to sleep but can't I play some game in mobile phone in darkness and my eyes get tired because of bright light in darkness and I feel sleepy.
