What is the guarentee that the new boss will be good. A known devil is better than an unknown angel. You can keep on fooling your bad tempered and nonsence boss and get along!! Of course if the career prospects are very bright in the new offer that is a diferent way of looking at it.

Look, sometimes we need to sacrifice some things in life. Unfortunately, in every kind of job there are problems between colleagues. We cannot match with all people of our environment. I understand that working with people you don't like it's not easy or pleasant, but you have to be patient until you get the offer from the other company. You have a job, because you need the money. So, you have to try to ignore things you don't like in your job until a better chance shows up. Remember, there are so many people around looking for a job. Having problems at your job means you do have a job :) Enjoy it and be happy!

Take care!!

Sure - go ahead. You hardly gave enough information for anyone to give you sound advice. Is there any reason why you would NOT want to change jobs now? Bad boss - new job offer - shouldn't be hard to figure that one out.

To clarify, when you say NOW, I am assuming you mean from the new company that is offering. If so, YES. Why wouldn't you if your unhappy with your current one?

But you should never unless under dire circumstances just up and quit without something to fall back upon unless your financially able. Dont let his attitude put you in bankruptcy!

Take the new job. I've always told employees that they gotta like what they do, and if you're at that point (which is sounds like), you need to move on. Life's too short to be someplace you sound unhappy with. Good luck !!!
