The last time i was on antibiotics, I got the most wicked case of thrush. I mean terrible! I asked my pharmacist what to do, he suggested baking soda for gargling. I had been using the old standby of salt.
Gargle with Baking soda and water and you will be amazed how quickly it will clear up!! No need for over the counter meds or prescriptions!!!!

Thrush is a yeast infection. Do you use inhalers? This is the most common cause of thrush in adults. If so, be sure to rinse your mouth out with water after each use. You may also have to see your doctor and he/she could prescribe a medication called Nystatin swish and swallow. This will clear it up in just a couple days.

Thrush is like a sort of yeast type fungal infection. I got it once when I was ill in the hospital. They have a chewable tablet that cures it in a couple days, that's if its in your mouth. I found out by reading up on it, that it can cause diaper rash in babies and yeast infection in women. If you get thrush of the mouth it makes everything taste gritty, I'm sure you know about yeast infections and diaper rash.
