you might be getting too much sleep. i know that i only need about 4 hours per nite and if i sleep more than that-i'm dragging all day long.

try going to bed at 11p and getting up at 6 and see if that helps. if you feel more tired, then too much sleep isn't the issue. then try getting more sleep-go to bed at 8p instead.

stop staying up all nite-you're confusing your internal body clock by switching from sleeping all nite to staying up. if you continue this-you'll never sleep well. if you're worried about oversleeping-put the alarm clock on the other side of the room so that you have to physically get out of bed to shut it off. studies show that people who do this are more likely to NOT go back to sleep once they are out of bed. if you have a cell phone with an alarm on it-set it to go off 5 minutes after your alarm clock does for extra security.

avoid caffeine during the day as much as possible-when it wears off, your body slows down making you more tired hours later.

if this continues-talk to your dr about a sleeping aide-this might help you to get on a better routine at night and wake up feeling rested and able to start your day

good luck!!

Ok I'm confused. Are you sleeping 9-6 or staying up all night? How many days did you try the no sleep thing? What are you doing when you aren't sleep? There are alot of things that can lead to exhaustion. You may not be reaching REM. That's when you are really sleep(Rapid Eye Movement) that's what it means, but its a time in your sleep when your body actually gets rest...are you dreaming...if not, probably not reaching REM. Try also, if possible, taking a small nap during the day to recharge...

Are you really going to bed at 9 ?? If so, your sleep should be enough for you to wake up on time. However, you should make a visit to your doctor and tell her how tired you are feeling. She may take a blood test to check your iron as a lack of iron also makes you sleepy. Try also eating more foods with iron in them, this might help. Also, try to get into a regular routine of going to bed and don't change the times.

Maybe your a night person and not a morning person. I am a night person, I cannot get up in the morning, so, I work 3rd shift...love it, or maybe try working 2nd shift. Otherwise, I would suggest seeing a Doctor, there could be underlying problems. Good luck!

Typically caffeine just keeps me up and makes me drowsy in the morning. A coworker of mine showed me a drink that he likes. It's called XS.

That one has no caffeine, if you like caffeine there are others on the website with it. The good thing about it is that it has only 8 calories, no sugar, and no carbs so it won't kill your diet or waistline if you drink it everyday
