what's the future of biotechnology?

The future will be a combination of technology like computer chips small enough to install within the human body to stem cell research curing what diseases we have to having perfect babies born through either cloning or manipulation of DNA.

Exciting stuff but scary as computer chips (nanochips) can now be used to control certain functions of the human body. It does not take a rocket scientist (no just a bio one) to see where this is going. Mind control can only be around the corner.

If your baby does not measure up, just change the DNA around so you can have a super child. This already has been worked on.

Stem cell research is encouraging but with future DNA changes to babies, you will not need it in another few generations as perfect children will be the norm so this will only be the short term thing.

This will the the future of biotechnology. Not sure if I like it.

Read through it. Though it may seem like science fiction, a lot of it is accurate predictions from many scientists around the world. In the future, things like full immersion virtual reality will become mainstream. nanobots released in the brain will be able to put a person in an inception like world, where the possibilities are endless. They also predict that soon aging will be halted, and even reversed. Immortality anyone?

Everybody will have mechanical arms and legs because they are to fat to lift themselves, but still want to walk and do stuff. So they need mechanical appendages.
