I am finding it so annoying that people are making assumptions. Who said I want revenge on someone? I just asked a question and fancied a laugh thats all!

Vocabulary is your best weapon. People hate to look 'stupid'.
Go to the online thesaurus at; www.dictionary.com
Enter some words you'd generally use in a conversation and pick out and LEARN some of the more 'oblique' words that mean the same.
When talking to the person again, especially with a group of friends, just slip the word into a rhetorical remark made directly AT the person.
Then just watch them 'glow' with embarrassment as they realise they CAN'T answer to you.
It'll give you no end of satisfaction without actually 'harming' anyone. Win-Win-Win.

Be nice to the person instead of nasty revenge-this will always confuse the enemy and is an instant way of letting go of resentments

Don't stoop to revenge. Its a waste of effort. Ignore them and their ways if they don't suit you. Spend the time you would have used positively on your better friends

of course revenge is sweet.
never go down to the other person's level though.
you need to go beneath it and beyond it to get real satifaction.

People have been lucky enough to stay on my good side but if someone was to, 'Rising Hannibal' by Thomas Harris has some very gross pointers.
