Well, ive known this guy for around 3 years. We always used to sit together in class. In fact, once someone else sat next to me - and he came in late, so he took that guy's bag, put it on another desk and sat next to me. Well, after a few good moments, things went downhill, i once casually said that i found so and so girl to be reallly attractive and ever since he just started shutting me out. he used to call me everyday but that slowly faded. Now, we're still in touch and we still talk but there's still that disconnect. Im going away to college (he and i applied, i got in, he didn't) and he keeps saying stuff like "I want to come too" or "Don't go there, let's try somewhere else" .. am I just getting led on or is there something serious here?

Well, he either thinks of you as a younger brother or a potential boyfriend, ONLY HE knows. ASK HIM, not us. Personally, I'd stick it out with him, if he's had the hots for you this long and stuck by you and you do seem to enjoy it. You can go to College anywhere, you know that. You can't find a husband/boyfriend anywhere. Do the math and make the decision for yourself, either ask and go from there, or drop him and never think of it again. Either way, ITS YOUR CHOICE!

maybe he is trying to stay away if you're either straight or bi but from what I can tell you may be interested in him (it sounded like he was interested in you). I would say before you go that you see what happens between you and him and no I don't think that he is just trying to lead you on.
