Is there someone who has rode a bicycle through all 50 states? Does anyone know of bike routes/trails or where I can find bike routes and trails for the US?

I am not a bicyclist by heart but I own a bike and ride for leasure about three of four times a month. I want to go on a cross country trek and want info. on ways, routes and best methods to do it. Can anyone help?

I will add a little clarity as far as the training goes. I ride three to four times a month but I work out four to six days a week. I am aware that it will take months of training to get my body ready to make such a trip and in different climates and weather conditions.

Make sure you're prepared for any weather from blazing heat to snow. Be able to do basic repairs on your bike. Carry tires, tubes, basic tools. You might be in the middle of nowhere when you have a flat or other mechanical. From the sounds of it 3-4 casual rides a month isn't enough conditioning for a cross country trip, you might need to step up your training quite a bit.

Wow I would think you'd need to train, if you are not an avid biker and you would need to plan out the trip very very carefully

Sorry to say, but if you only ride 3 or 4 times a month, you may not have the endurance needed

Good Luck

sell the two motorcycles and purchase some thing like the Surley go verify or long Haul trucker so which you would be able to rock 35-40mm tires and fenders. Get racks and bags for the motorcycle for many of your kit. in case you extremely want a trailer i think of a funky thought is the Extrawheel trailer. It purely has one wheel. i've got not got one, yet sounds like an decision you're able to desire to look at.
