with a little box with an x in it in the left hand corner? This happens on web pages and in emails sent to me on occasion..........

It means the image cannot be found by your browser or your email program. Try right clicking in the box and selecting 'Show Images' if the red x remains then the image link is dead.

Well... When you put an image on a website or an HTML email, you need to tell it where the image is stored at. If the image is not in that location, the empty box shows up. It means it can not find the image file in the location it was told.

Sometimes the image fails to be transferred into our computer. In such cases you can refresh your web page, or right click into the missing picture and select Display Picture.
On the emails it also depends on your email client. Sometimes email clients block images that are potentially unsafe. In other cases the picture might not have been attached to the message. Other times the images are actually hyperlinked and it might take a while to display or you might have to change the message format to HTML.

i'm getting that normally whilst human beings deliver too many photos in one e mail or if the image is to special. There could be an attachment you may click directly to view the image. if so it could be located under the concern of the e mail.

the first thing, when you open the website some image maybe too large to opened. second that image must be relocated or removed from that site. if some image lost from your email, maybe broken link or not to be attach from sender
