I love american football, I have watched it for over 30 years, but in that time I have only had my team San Diego, get to the final once.
So this time I will go for Indy because I have never liked the Bears.

Being a Bronco fan stranded in Toronto...I really have little care who wins...though I'll still watch as it is my official holiday...ahem.
Truth is, I look at this game as one of the worst looking Super Bowls I've ever seen as I don't see either team as truly deserving to be there. Colts have a great offense, yes...but they aren't the 2000 Rams. Bears have a great defense...when they are on their game.
I would have preferred to see Chargers or Pats versus the Saints. Bush vs. LT or Brees vs. Brady. Either of those would have been very intriguing...but not this one.
As for who will win...Grossman would be overwhelmed by a team of mice so if Indy's defense plays, even remotely, like they did the first two playoff games...Colts win. I will make one prediction, though...if the Bears D is on and Peyton isn't perfect, this game could be won without a single touchdown.

The Colts will destroy Chicago in the Super Bowl. Now you may think that I'm saying this just because I hate the Bears. Or maybe because I think that Peyton deserves to get a ring before he's done with his HOF career. The truth is that Indy is a far superior team and Rex Grossman will never win a Super Bowl and neither will any team that he's ever a part of.

I think its funny how people think you are traitor rooting for another team.
His team isnt playing anymore does that mean he shouldnt watch football now? Not enjoy the passion of the sport?
I'm from Indy, but I am a Packer fan, but I like to support the home team. Does that make me a traitor or glory hunter?
No matter what teams are playing, everyone knows when they watch they get a feeling that they want one team to win over the other in that particular game. That doesnt mean you have gone against your favorite team people.
And to answer the question, Indy all the way.

I think the Colts will win; the Bears won't have a cold weather advantage, and the memories of some of the games this season are still there, like how the Packers soundly beat them at the end of the season.

I hope Indy comes out with the big W. I think Peyton deserves to finally win. I'm glad he FINALLY made it to the Super Bowl. He deserves that dang ring. Neither are my team, but Indy is my choice for Super Bowl XLI!
Are you still remaining a SD fan but just going with Indy for the Super Bowl? Or are you switching to Indy all together? I took it as you were rootin for Indy just for this game. But now I am second guessing myself since everyone else thinks you are leaving SD and going with Indy. Not that it matters, I was just wondering.

If this is an operative word in this context: Both teams DESERVE this win. Unfortunately one of them has to be denied the victory.
My own suspicion is that the Colts will prevail in a close game (a 3 point or 7 point win).

Yeah I'm looking forward to it.
Personally I was supporting the Saints, but now they've lost I ain't to fussed. I want to see a high scoring game with no dodgy decisions from the officials and a good spirit of play.
A bit like the year the LA Rams beat the Tennessee Titans.

im a pats fan. so hope that indy win so that we can say we lost to the superbowl champions. however bears were rated higher in the regular season, but colts have looked good in the playoffs, so should be good.
