I'm also Dominican, and I've found out that there are alot of Dominicans in the Northeastern part of the country. The city that I live in has the largest population of Dominicans/hispanics in the state of MA.

There are also a lot of Dominicans located in NYC. I've also noticed that after a while of being in the cold New England weather, we tend to move down south to warmer states, mainly FL.
