it all started when we met at eighteen i was a virgin and so was my wife (so i thought) the first time we slept together she made a big deal about it being her first time and mine and she acted out the part t. we married at 19 and all was great .until i was telling her best friend one night that i was glad we where both virgins she couldnt believe what i said and told me that my wife had a full sexual relationship before me i was shocked so i confronted my wife and her reply was that she tried it a couple of times and its none of my bussines (which i would accept) but she played out the whole virgin thing.and tells people when in my company that she was a virgin when she met me. we have been happily married for 19 years with kids.but people have suggested that my wife was kissing my friends years ago and i did notice some things strange but wife would always deny. iam a good caring hard working husband and father and always have been but i feel i have been betrayed all my marriage

I agree with "Go Go Ressa". It sounds like your wife felt ashamed that she was not a virgin and so played a part with you. And was embarrassed at being caught in a lie.

I don't know what happened years ago, and/or who is telling the truth about those episodes.

Is she faithful now? Has she been faithful for a long time? If so, get some personal counseling and work through the issues of distrust you have with her. If you still suspect her of infidelity, I'd get couples counseling to strengthen your marriage.

Best of luck to you!

Just think as if it was a (car/truck), and you got a flat, get the jack out and change the tire.
Soon after, down the road, You'll forget about that tire, that went flat, on you and the car will take you where you want to be.
And no needs to know, that you got a flat. Move on..

I understand that it wasn't the fact she had other lovers, it's the fact she lied and lied so well.If she go that far to tell you a lie about that then she will lie about anything. The part that get to me is... how she played the whole unnecessary lie to the point of blood. I know you feel betrayed. Sorry for you and your kids. You should get her some professional help.

I dont think she is lying here... A virgin usually does bleed after having intercouse for the first time... This is natural... I tend to believe your wife over the friend... But even if she did have sex before marrying you the past is the past so get over it!

if u have had a reasonably happy married life so far, why spoil it on the insinuation of strangers who r not necessarily ur well wishers. Is it important now whether ur wife was a virgin or not. U must have many more reasons to cherish ur marriage now.

Let it go, it happened over 19 years ago. And stop telling other people about your sex life. Certain things should remain private.

Someone told her virginity was important. Its not.
Why the charade? Who knows? Why does it matter 19 years later?

Well... abt the virgin thing... i think she was afraid to reveal u the truth in fear that u break up with her...! She didn't want to hurt u too.
And abt her kissing ur friends... you need not to listen to others saying.... give her a chance ok... mayb u have always doubt her thts why u cant trust her anymore...

it doesn't matter....YOU have her and married her. Maybe she was ashamed of her past. It was a long time ago, so let go of it.
