Call them and ask if you have a contract with them for dial up if not tell them to cancel and if its automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account call them and open a dispute
The other people that commented are right AOL is a horrible company and always has been.

ok i had aol dial up and then i got a 1.5mb dsl connection with a different isp. i called and canceled my aol account completely. you keep your aol sn and software but dont pay a dime. the only reason you pay for aol is for the dial up because to have it for broadband you need a seperate internet service provider (isp). aol does not provide a high speed internet connection just software that ruins your computer and then they take your money pretty much robbing you blind . so just call aol cancel completely and still use the software free.

The DEMON that is AOL, ......you cannot stop. unless of course you happen to have a high power rifle on hand. i reccomend the fdisk and format commands.
