Wide Area Network & Local Area Network

WAN = Wide Area Network. A network or two or more Local Area Networks (LAN's) spanning a large geographical area.

LAN = Local Area Network. Two or more computers interconnected within a single environment, like in an office.

A network is simply any coupling or joining or computers on a single system.

LAN : Local Area Network. When we talk about Computers Connected within room or within Building.
In LAN we use Following Devices. HUB,SWITCH

WAN: Wide Area Network. When Computer are connected out of state or gerophical Limit. or u can collection or LAN's out of town,state,country.

In WAN we use Following Devices. HUB,SWITCH,Routers,VSAT,RF,Leased LIne Etc.

wan(wide ares netwotk) for wan technology you & your areas consumer can cummunicate another area's network.
