If he can't feel the kicks now (my husband could feel kicks at 18 weeks with my first baby) then he will be able to in a couple weeks or so. Unfortunately, it's different with everyone.

Sarcastically, men usually "feel" the baby when it's born. But that all depends on if he has any feeling left in his hands after you crushed all the bones in his hands while screaming, "YOU DID THIS TO ME!!!!" for about 5 minutes.
Realistically, it all depends. It's should be around the 5th month. But maybe we it just feeling the stomach at the wrong time? Not every baby is constantly developing a soccer leg in the womb. *And it's not like you can poke the baby with a stick and say "Kick...KICK!"
*No pun intended...seriously, that was random.

The kicks can be felt from week 18 on. It's not the same for everybody. On your first baby it tends to be a little later. It won't be long. If he really want to se/feel the baby hold a torch switched on against your bump, the baby will move. The bigger you get the easier it is to see, we saw my boys hand pushing out and over my stomach ( it looked like a scene from Alien ) :-)

The hardest thing my husband found when trying to feel the baby is the warmth of his hands soothed the baby and put her to sleep so he never felt the baby until I was 8-9 months and by then you could see her when she kicked and things. Try when the baby is really active.
