It depends on where you live and what your market is. I live in a small community and rely heavily on the old one to one in interacting with the media. I am an ex journalist, so that helps. A few tips when dealing with the press: be yourself always (don't suck up), don't favor the one over the other, never get in the defensive corner and KNOW WHEN NOT TO REACT.
