Great question!!

Greed in human beings is much more basic than what can be effectively addressed through any system created by us such as socialism or communism or any political order.

In order to conquer greed, we need to address it spiritually. Spiritual strength emancipates one from material longings. True inner wisdom makes us understand the eventual futility of all material possessions....... unfortunately it is not a cure, it is rather the emancipation or maturity which occurs in different individuals at different times. The world or human beings as such can not be cleansed of all greed at any particular point in time... however, each individual can attain this feat for himself through spiritual wisdom..... and spiritual wisdom happens through maturity gained from personal experiences rather than through any structured teaching, education or system.

Yep, its called competitive markets caused by real government regulation, redistribution of wealth by government and democratic institutions to replace government if they fail in their responsibilities to the public. Failing that it's called civil unrest, demonstration and revolution.

This doesn't cure greed... not sure anything will. It redresses (is a cure for) greed. Unfortunately, given the growing gap between the richest and poorest in every country of the world, I'd say government is not doing their job.

Internationally, it is much worse as the least developed countries with little resources, little human capital and culturally diverse, can't get a foot in the door of development. The greed of countries is shown in unfair globalization/subsidization and trade practices.

Peace

If we cared for others, and placed their needs before greedy desires, maybe there is a chance of assuring there is enough for everyone.
It is not a problem for individuals who possess compassion, and continuously strive to be a better person.
The challenge is how can we interconnect with a greedy individual and encourage change.

Death.

We live in a society where socialism and Communism are practically (or literally in some cases) illegal. Without the death of the greedy, or the death of those needing, neither a "cure" nor "fulfilling everyone" can happen.

One day you will standunder(understand) YOU ARE SOURCE. Dualism is non-reality. 'Oneness' is TRUTH!
Greed is but an effect of 'Selishness' which comes as a result of Ignorance of the first statement.

needs can be cured but its always a human nature that shall ask for more so needs would shift to luxuries which never end so its good being greedy a person evolves within thyself

one cure my puny mind can think of is selflessness. and for this state of mind, one has to kill one of the most important aspect of human Psyche and that is "ego". the moment ego is crushed there is no greed.

not sure, perhaps there is another solution or "cure" as you put it.

No, unfortunately. A lust for money or material goods is a never ending, downward whirlpool. Some people will never be satisfied; they will never have "enough."
