Why 4:20? How come this is the pot smokers daily holiday?

I've heard loads and loads of stories as why this is the Pot smokers holiday...what do you think. Why 4:20, why not 5:32?

From my knowledge, 4:20 is the time of day that the most people are smoking pot at once. I'm not sure how this information was compiled... wait, what was I saying? Seriously dude, I forgot what I was just talking about... (cough, hack)

I have no idea. I've never heard a story. Everyone I ask tells me the don't know why "that's just the way it is".
