I've known two, both both around 1970, both Jewish. The one I knew well was very very smart, at times in a supercilious way. She preferred to be known as Mimi. (I prefer Miriam myself.) The one I didn't know very well was probably also smart, very pretty. Both had thick dark hair.

I really like the name.

i like it, a friend of mine is called miriam, at first i used to say mariam, . i think miriam is a cute name.and one more thing it is a Muslim name.
