is there a hour wage ? what do they do to clean up the old labs.

The cost is high because of the number of people and the equipment involved. Its not like one guy is going in making 100,000 /year and cleaning them up. Meth labs are very explosive and unstable so in many areas they even use robots to assist in the clean up. The people that do it are civil serveants and make 30,000-65,000 /year based on years on the job and overtime etc.
