Why are islamic terrorists so hateful?

I don't get why islam is home to so many violent people. These are the modern times people.

First of al, you describe it as hateful. They might explain it as 'the big bad USA ruling the world'.

In the end its all about power. Right now, and for centuries before, religion is USED (not the cause) as a binding factor or even as justification (because God sais so) to stir up hate and anger. Ones these emotions are reached it doesn't take much for a 'leader' to have people all move in the same direction.

Something that is importnat is that in different cultures, pride and 'to loose face' is far more important. In the arabic world, there is a saying "A sin in private, is half forgiven". You see here a clear distinction. Where in 'the west' someone would have 'no integrity' if he would not resign from a post, in the arabic world to loose face would mean that you are such a shame to yourself and your family that you would need to commit suicide. This is why you see such extreme reactions based on extreme emotions saying the other is wrong. No matter if you did yourself something wrong, because ýou can't admit it, or at least not in that culture.

Hope this helps. Keep an open mind. You might discover it all comes down to a complete different set of values and a different background. Never impose your own culture on the other, it will only lead to this 'hate' as we intepret it.

Why are terrorists so hateful? Hmmm... because their terrorists, do you expect a terrorist to walk around with a smiley T shirt singing Sesame Street songs?

I don't understand why people feel the need to be violent either, it's awful. In case you didn't know the modern times, the future times the present time there will always be hate and war and violence.

Hopefully, one day in the future, the world will become a little more peaceful but total harmony, it's never going to happen.

Yours is perhaps the very best question here if we were to rephrase it a bit. And it is a question never asked and therefore no answer will be found. "What brings people to the point of becoming terrorists"? What are the causes of terrorism?
The question has not been seriously addressed or we would have a different policy.
When people despair, when they are humiliated time and time again, when they lose their integrity and dignity, then you have the making of a terrorist in order to gain justice and some self respect. We have never considered nor contemplated to do such things as to restore peoples self worth.

I think you're wrong cos Islam is the best religion in this word,and if you saw some violent Muslims it doesn't mean that all of the Muslims are violent and hatefull,even though some people deserve that hardness.. And remember that no one will hate another without a reason,So this generalization is completely wrong..

its just certain media that love to play up certain forms of news and downplay other news. There are many hateful bad people and groups around of all faiths,and of no faiths MAss murderers, serial killers,pedophiles/ drug dealers/ rapists/ robbers/muggers/ white supremicists/intolerant tyrants. IN many countries they look for any excuse to jail and oppress/kill their rivals If they can even hint at them being terrorists, then they can get their way to destroy the opposition to their tyrannical government
